WHO IS

LL.D, legal counsel – member of the Regional Chamber of Legal Counsels in Poznań, graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, visiting student at the Faculty of Law at Università degli Studi di Genova; she conducted academic research at Istituto di Diritto Agrario Internazionale e Comparato in Florence and was on many academic placements for example in Rome.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

She has cooperated with several law firms in Poland and in Italy. She has been giving seminars on environmental law, administrative procedure and land use planning to the employees of the public administration bodies. KS has published many academic papers.

She is a specialist in Polish and Italian environmental law, mainly in the area of water protection, waste management and legal issues in undertakings which may significantly affect the environment. Her papers are published also in Italian and English. She works as an academic in Warsaw and in London. She also teaches environmental law, civil law and medical law in Oslo, Madrid, Vienna and Rome, just to name a few. Karolina Szuma is an expert lawyer for research projects carried out under the auspices of the Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Economy.

She deals with public procurement law and environmental impact of investment processes, including environmental impact of wind power facilities. She provides ongoing legal services for businesses from Poland and abroad, including Italy, specifically those involved in such industries as waste management, automotive, telecommunications, construction engineering, clothing and higher education. She has extensive experience in providing services for local government units, businesses offering comprehensive logistic and construction services, and health care entities. She represents businesses and individuals in courts, including administrative courts, before public administration bodies, etc. She is fluent in Italian. She also speaks Spanish and English. She may run your case also in German and French, with the participation of an advocate speaking one of those languages. She has been cooperating with a prestigious law firm in Italy (Genoa), a notary’s office, court enforcement officer’s office, sworn translators, experts in many fields, and finance & accounting consultant.
